After you have been using your computer for a while, you probably feel it is not as fast as it used to be. This is the result of the Registry getting filled with junk. FixMyRegistry claims to find and fix Registry errors. It can also carry out other operations as defragmenting and restoring the Registry. In addition, it can update and defragment your system drivers.
Using this program is really easy. It has a tabbed interface, so the different functions are adequately separated from each other, which facilitates navigation. Most of the operations are easily performed with just one or two clicks. However, when you are scanning your Registry, you can select which areas to include.
Once FixMyRegistry was installed, it automatically started to scan my system and there was no way to stop this operation, which I personally consider intrusive. When it finished scanning, it reported lots of errors. However, the trial version did not allow me to fix any of them.
In my opinion, no matter how many errors a Registry fixer claims to find, this is no proof at all of its effectiveness. Personally, I would not buy this program without being sure that it can really fix my computer. So, my recommendation is to keep on searching as there are some excellent and proven applications of this same type available.
